Last day of summer! With rain threatening in the afternoon I did this walk in the morning. Another favorite neighborhood of ours. Not to be confused with Lincoln Park or Logan Square, Lincoln Square is its own thing. The Brau Haus was a great German place that unfortunately closed in December 2017. It still looks the same on the outside today. Hopefully, someone will reopen it. We've taken classes at the Old Town School of Music (confusingly not in Old Town) and have a date night coming up at The Chopping Block. The Book Cellar and Timeless Toys are two of our favorite local shops. 4 out of the 10 businesses mentioned on the card are still there. The others have been replaced by similar restaurants and boutiques so the neighborhood is still bustling.
