Southport corridor is one of our favorites. Today happened to be the annual Taco Festival. Rain was threatening so the crowds were a little thin. And, once again, only 3 out of the 13 businesses mentioned on the card are still there. (Krista K, Southport Grocery and Julius Meinl) Not a thorough or scientific study, but interestingly no matter the neighborhood only about 30% of businesses survive 10 years.
